Obamacare Premiums To Rise Steeply In 2026
Anyone with experience in insurance knows that artificially low premiums will bounce up to recover losses.
According to The Wall Street Journal, insurers are seeking double-digit rate increases in 2026 for Obamacare plans. The outlet reported that Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Illinois is asking for a 27% rate hike, while Blue Cross in Texas is looking to raise rates 21%. Under the largest ACA plans in Georgia, Rhode Island, and Washington state, premiums are set to climb more than 20%.
DHS Noem: Sanctuary City Policies Caused Shooting
New York City's illegal migrant sanctuary policies and Mayor Eric Adams are to blame after an off-duty U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer was shot in the face Saturday in the city, according to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.
"There's absolutely zero reason that someone who is scum of the earth like this should be running loose on the streets of New York City," Noem said in a news conference after visiting the victim in the hospital Monday.
"Make no mistake, this officer is in the hospital today, fighting for his life, because of the policies of the mayor of the city and the City Council and the people that were in charge of keeping the public safe refused to do so."

Fred Fleitz: Obama Coup On Trump Known Since 2017
Now we have proof!
Information released Friday showing that former President Barack Obama and his administration allegedly leaked information in what eventually became the "Russiagate" scandal in an attempt to stage a "coup" over President Donald Trump's 2016 administration win is significant, but "not a bombshell," Fred Fleitz, former National Security Council chief of staff under Trump, said on Newsmax Saturday.
"This has been known since 2017," Fleitz told Newsmax's "America Right Now." "I've written about it extensively that a rigged intelligence report was rushed out before Trump's inauguration, in which the intelligence agencies claim that the Trump campaign and Russia colluded, and that this report was designed to undermine the Trump presidency."
The Department of Justice has taken possession of a criminal referral by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, outlining what she called a “treasonous conspiracy” by the Obama administration to “subvert President Trump’s 2016 victory.”

“NPR days are numbered” - Kari Lake
Kari Lake, senior adviser to the U.S. Agency for Global Media, told Newsmax on Friday that NPR cannot survive without taxpayer support due to what she calls a deeply partisan bias.
She said NPR may be coming to an end with the formal elimination of its federal funding, a move pushed by President Donald Trump and approved by Congress this week.
"NPR's days are probably numbered if the government and the taxpayer aren't footing the bill," Lake said on "Finnerty."
