(NewsMax) U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon admonished special counsel Jack Smith on Tuesday and said future failure on his part to comply with her requirements in the classified documents case against former President Donald Trump in Florida could result in sanctions.
At issue is the Friday night request — ahead of a holiday weekend — made by Smith's team that Cannon impose a gag order on Donald Trump from making public comments about the case.
Cannon denied Smith's request Tuesday.

Judge’s Ruling For Trump Co-Defendant Floyd Will Delay Georgia Case
Judge Scott McAfee decided to give co-defendant Harrison Floyd team more time to build his argument about the accuracy of the 2020 election results and more time to arrange for legal experts to testify, Newsweek reported.
McAfee asked Floyd's attorneys to file additional information, including the scope of the expert review of the 2020 votes that they're seeking.
The case may be delayed until after Judge McAfee must rule on Floyd’s request Fulton County recount of 528, 777 ballots from 2020 election.
That recount, in addition to all that’s been discovered1, could make the Trump Case moot by proving all his contentions
