More Trade Deals In Next Few Days
The United States is close to clinching several trade deals ahead of a July 9 deadline when higher tariffs kick in, U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said on Sunday, predicting several big announcements in coming days.
Bessent told CNN's "State of the Union" the Trump administration would also send out letters to 100 smaller countries with whom the U.S. doesn't have much trade, notifying them that they would face higher tariff rates first set on April 2 and then suspended until July 9.

Trump Ends Biden Rule Allowing Thousands of Illegal Aliens
The Department of Homeland Security will terminate deportation protections for thousands of Hondurans and Nicaraguans in the U.S., according to U.S. government notices posted on Monday, part of a broad effort by President Donald Trump to strip legal status from illegal aliens.
The terminations, effective Sep. 6, would end Temporary Protected Status for an estimated 72,000 Hondurans and 4,000 Nicaraguans who have had access to the legal status since 1999, according to a pair of notices posted online on Monday.

Anti-ICE Criminals Help Child Rapist Escape
Anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activists in Denver, Colorado, managed to thwart agents trying to arrest an illegal migrant wanted in Italy for child rape.
ICE Colorado said on Friday their agents were trying to detain Jose Reyes Leon-Deras, a criminal alien from El Salvador who was convicted of child rape in Italy, when members of a local anti-ICE group alerted him to their presence.
ICE said the group, Colorado Rapid Response, posted on social media that ICE was in the area, allowing him time to flee.

Poisonous Dyes In 19% of US foods
Nearly one in five US packaged foods and drinks contain synthetic food dyes, according to a startling new study of 40,000 grocery items.
The findings come amid a push by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to eliminate petroleum-based food colorings from the nation’s food supply.
While regulatory agencies have generally considered artificial food dyes safe, a growing body of research suggests they may be linked to hyperactivity, irritability and other potential health issues in kids.
